WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect two kinds of information:

• Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, schedule a tour, or send us an email, we collect what you share — typically your name, email address, phone number, event date, guest count, and details about your celebration.
• Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, our analytics tools record standard data such as the pages you visit, the site that referred you, your approximate city-level location, your device and browser type, and how long you spent on each page. This data is aggregated.

Our site also embeds Instagram posts from our @eventsatthearlo feed. When those load, your browser communicates directly with Meta, and Meta’s own privacy practices apply.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use what you share with us to respond to inquiries, schedule tours, follow up about your event, and improve the website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your contact information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use cookies for two purposes:

• Functional cookies help the site work smoothly — remembering form input, holding your place in a gallery, and so on.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though a few convenience features may not.

WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH

We share limited information with the services that power this site:

• Google — analytics data through Google Analytics 4.
• Our email host — so we can send and receive messages with you.
• Our website host (WP Engine) — for delivering the site to your browser.
• Tour-scheduling tool (TripleSeat) — when you submit a tour request, the relevant fields are forwarded to our event-management system.
• Meta / Instagram — only when you load embedded Instagram content on our site.

If we are ever required by law to disclose information (subpoena, court order, lawful request), we will comply with that obligation.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

We keep inquiry and tour-request information for as long as your event is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you reach back out. Analytics data is retained per Google’s standard 14-month default. Email correspondence is kept indefinitely unless you ask us to delete it.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can email us at any time to:

• Ask what we have. We’ll send you a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct it. If something we have is wrong, we’ll update it.
• Delete it. We’ll remove your information from our records, subject to any obligation to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
• Opt out of follow-up. If you’d prefer we stop emailing you, just let us know.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Arlo’s website is intended for adults planning weddings and events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please email us and we’ll delete it.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or practices change. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
