Booking, Payments & Cancellations

What is the rental price range at The Arlo?

Rental rates fall between $5,500 and $14,500 depending on day of the week. For current pricing and date availability, contact The Arlo directly to schedule a tour.

Are weekday events available?

Yes. The Arlo is available for events seven days a week. Please note that the venue is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Does The Arlo host more than one event per day?

No. The Arlo hosts only one event per day. All rentals include exclusive access to the property.

How do I reserve a date at The Arlo?

Booking begins with a tour of the property or an initial planning conversation. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll prepare a rental agreement for electronic signature. Your date is officially confirmed and reserved once we receive both the signed agreement and the deposit payment.

Will The Arlo place a tentative hold on my event date?

No. Dates are only held once a signed rental agreement and deposit have been received. Until booking is complete, dates remain available to other inquiries.

Is a payment plan available?

Yes. Payments are typically structured in scheduled installments, with the final payment due prior to the event date.

When is the final payment due?

Final payment is due 60 days prior to your event.

What happens if we need to cancel our event?

If you need to cancel your event, please contact our team as soon as possible so we can discuss available options. Because The Arlo reserves your date exclusively for your event, payments are generally non-refundable. We strongly recommend event cancellation insurance to help protect against unexpected circumstances.

Guest Capacity & Parking

What is the guest capacity at The Arlo?

The Arlo is best suited for events with 50 to 250 guests for optimal comfort and flow. Depending on the event layout and specific needs, maximum guest capacity may extend up to 300 guests. Final capacity may vary based on vendor requirements, floor plans, and overall event design.

What is the ceremony seating capacity for Storie Hall?

Storie Hall accommodates up to 200 seated guests for optimal comfort and flow.

What parking is available for guests and vendors?

The Arlo offers approximately 120 on-site parking spaces for guests and vendors. For larger events, third-party transportation may be recommended to accommodate parking needs. Overnight parking is not permitted.

Venue Access & Amenities

What is included with our venue rental?

Your venue rental includes exclusive access to The Arlo’s indoor and outdoor event spaces, two private getting-ready suites, an on-site prep kitchen, parking, and standard venue furnishings, with seating for up to 300 guests. Rental time also includes event access, a rehearsal hour, subject to availability, and breakdown time. What getting-ready spaces are included with our rental?

The Arlo offers two beautifully appointed, private getting-ready spaces for use on the day of your event. The Lounge is a 1,600-square-foot space featuring a beauty bar, en suite bathroom, dressing room, and a statement fireplace. The Cottage is a separate 1,500-square-foot space with two full bathrooms, offering flexibility for additional preparation and relaxation.

What is the standard rental period at The Arlo?

Arlo’s standard rental includes 12 hours of event time, 1 rehearsal hour, and 1 hour of vendor breakdown time, for a total of 14 hours of included venue access.

Is breakdown time included?

Yes. One hour of vendor breakdown time is included following your event for cleanup and load-out.

How early can we access the venue?

Early access hours may be added beginning as early as 6:00 am and are purchased in advance.

Can we extend the event later into the night?

Yes. One late-night guest access hour may be added for an additional fee and must be purchased in advance. Event end times may be extended to 12:00 am, except on New Year’s Eve, when events may continue until 12:30 am.

Can vendors load in, set up, break down, or pick up items on a different day?

No. All vendor load-in, setup, breakdown, and item removal must take place on the day of your event and within your contracted venue access time.

Is additional breakdown time available?

Yes. Additional late-night breakdown time can be purchased if needed and should be scheduled in advance.

How do we add additional access time?

Additional access time must be arranged in advance through your Venue Representative at The Arlo.

Rehearsals, Walkthroughs & Photos

Is a rehearsal included with our rental?

Yes. One hour of rehearsal time is included with your rental and is scheduled based on venue availability.

When can we schedule our rehearsal?

Rehearsals may be scheduled up to 45 days before your event date and are based on availability.

Can the rehearsal take place on the day of the event?

Yes. The included rehearsal hour may be applied to the day of your event at no additional charge.

Can we schedule a rehearsal on a day when another event is taking place?

No. Rehearsals are not scheduled on days when another event is taking place at The Arlo.

Is a final walkthrough meeting required?

Yes. A final walkthrough meeting is required and must take place at least 30 days before your event. Your event planner, catering representative, and a representative from The Arlo are required to attend. Additional vendors may attend as needed to review event logistics and final details.

Can we schedule engagement or bridal portrait sessions at The Arlo?

Yes. Engagement, bridal, and other portrait sessions may be scheduled at The Arlo, subject to availability. Session fees apply. Booked clients receive preferred pricing.

What do we need to know about portrait sessions?

Portrait sessions are scheduled based on availability. Clients should arrive with hair and makeup completed. The bridal suite may be used for changing. We recommend carrying gowns when moving through outdoor areas and across hardscape surfaces to help protect delicate fabrics and hems. The Arlo is not responsible for damage to attire during portrait sessions.

Can non-booking guests schedule photography sessions at The Arlo?

Yes. Photography sessions are available for non-booked guests and are scheduled based on availability.

Planning & Vendors

Is an event planner required?

Yes. The Arlo requires all clients to hire a third-party professional event planner.

Does The Arlo provide planning or coordination services?

No. The Arlo does not provide event planning, vendor coordination, or timeline management.

Will The Arlo have staff on-site during the event?

Yes. An Arlo team member will be on-site throughout your event to oversee the property and assist with venue-related needs, including lighting, climate control, and facility operations.

Do you have an approved or required vendor list?

Yes. The Arlo has a Required Vendors list for catering, stage and dance floor rentals, tents, large-scale lighting installations, and pyrotechnics. Recommended vendors for other services are provided for convenience.

Are outside vendors allowed?

Yes. Outside vendors are welcome, provided they meet venue requirements and are approved by The Arlo team in advance. Please note that catering, stage and dance floor installations, tents, large-scale lighting installations, and pyrotechnics must be selected from The Arlo’s approved vendor list.

Alcohol Services

Does The Arlo provide alcohol or bar services?

No. The Arlo does not provide alcohol or bar services.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes. Couples can provide their own beer, wine, and spirits. All alcohol must be served by TABC-certified bartenders arranged through your full-service caterer. The Arlo does not offer alcohol services.

General Event Policies

Is The Arlo ADA accessible?

Yes. The Arlo is ADA accessible. Our main event spaces, restrooms, and primary guest pathways are accessible for guests with mobility needs. If you anticipate specific accommodations for your event, we encourage you to share those details with your event planner in advance so they can be thoughtfully incorporated into the event layout and timeline. If you have questions about accessibility or would like to walk the property with accessibility needs in mind, our team is happy to assist.

What happens if it rains on the day of our event?

The Arlo is designed to host events in a variety of weather conditions. Storie Hall is an ideal space for indoor ceremonies and gatherings. The deep veranda keeps guests comfortable through a light rain without moving everyone inside. A rain plan is discussed at the required final walkthrough.

Are pets or animals allowed at The Arlo?

Pre-approval is required for all vendor performance animals and leashed, chaperoned dogs. Chaperoned dogs are permitted for photography sessions and wedding ceremonies only and must be attended by a designated handler at all times.

Are sparklers allowed?

Yes. Sparklers are permitted on concrete surfaces only and must be coordinated by your event planner.

What is your candle policy?

Real flame candles are permitted as long as the flame is fully contained within a glass holder such as a votive, hurricane, or lantern. Candles with exposed flames are not permitted. Real flame candles are not allowed on turf areas. LED candles are recommended for outdoor use.

Are confetti, flower petals, or toss items allowed?

No. Confetti, glitter, rice, lavender, dried flowers, aerosol string, silk petals, or other dispersed materials are not permitted. Loose fresh white flower petals may be approved in advance for limited use. Petal tosses are not permitted outdoors during send-offs.

Is security required for events?

Yes. Arlo-coordinated security services are required for all events.
